FREE AND REDUCED LUNCH IMPORTANT REMINDER: For families that have qualified for the free or reduced lunch program, an annual application is required. If families have not resubmitted a new application for free and reduced lunch services for 2013-2014 school year, these services will expire after the first thirty days of school. If these services expire, student meals are no longer free or reduced. Please see the front office for a new application to ensure services can be reconsidered for the 2013-2014 school year.
Uniform Information
As stated in the Student Handbook, your child must wear a belt as part of their uniform if they have belt loops on their shorts/pants/skorts/jumpers etc. They must have their shirts tucked in.
Grades
Classwork, tests, quizzes, participation, papers, and group work are several ways your student will be assessed and assigned a grade. Check out the Power Schools page for information on how to check grades each and every day! Please see the student handbook link below for further explanation.
School Hours
Please note that front gates will open at 7:30 each morning. Our classroom door will also open at 7:30. Your child is expected to be in the classroom no later than 8:00. Students should use the restroom BEFORE coming to class in the morning so we don't lose instructional time at the beginning of the day.
Students will be dismissed from the classroom at 2:50 once afternoon procedures (agendas, etc.) have been completed. Please be patient with your child so that he or she has everything put away or with them to bring home.

Homework Binder
Rememeber to check your child's Homework Binder each night for work, notices, and notes from the teacher. It is only an effective organizational tool if you, as parents, are consistent. Your child's daily behavior will also be noted in their agenda. Please sign the agenda each night and feel free to write a short note there if necessary.
